Hello Everyone,
My name is Zornitza Hadjitodorova and I am the administrator of Our Breathing Planet. I am Bulgarian and currently live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where I work in the environmental industry as division manager electronic waste recycling with a regional company. Live Green and Inspire has been my motto for a long time now and I would like to tell you a little more about the idea behind Our Breathing Planet.
My passion for saving nature really started several years ago when I witnessed an extremely violent sight in the northern parts of China – I visited an animal skinning yard. It shook my world and alarmed me to the core. This is when I realized that raising awareness on environmental issues is the only way to go as we are surrounded by injustice. It takes only one thing to move forward: Inspiration. Inspiration for having a sustainable green life, caring for our environment and educating others about environmental threats.
I am currently involved in numerous green initiatives and the one aspect that is inherent to all is inspiration for Living Green. People from a myriad of backgrounds, religions and social strata come together to try to amend the mistakes and undo the damage others have caused. It is incredibly motivating to see that there are many out there who genuinely care and want to do good, to help the next generation inherit a better world. In fact, we borrow the world from our children, as an old native Indian adage goes.
Our Breathing Planet is dedicated to saving our nature and inspiring others to do so, too. I wish you all good luck and may you be successful in your endeavors to help make our green and blue planet a better place for us and our children!
Eco regards,
Zornitza
